Happy New Year Everyone!

It’s time to start fresh and set those resolutions. I, for one, think that getting out there to see all that New Jersey has to offer should be one of them! This month wine and beer appreciation take the lead with a handful of events in their honor. Take advantage and make a day out of one of these exciting festivities.

January 10th– Renualt Winery’s Winter Wine Festival; Egg Harbor City, NJ: Join 12 of New Jersey’s finest wineries for a day of sipping and savoring. January 17th and 18th – Belleview Winery’s Winter Wine Weekend; Landisville, NJ: Taste some of the vineyard’s favorite wines and warm up with some special soups that the winery will be serving up to help us all thaw out from the winter chill. http://www.bellviewwinery.com/event/alpine-winter-weekend-10.cfm

January 17th –Laurita Winery Blessing of the Vineyard; New Egypt, NJ: This free event gives its attendees an insider look at the annual blessing to St Vincent Tournante the Patron Saint of the Vineyards. January 17th – Downton Abbey Luncheon at Liberty Hall Museum; Union, NJ: Calling all fans of the hit PBS series! Join Liberty Hall Museum at Kean University for a lunch buffet fit for Lady Grantham and the Dowager Countess herself.  http://www.visitnj.org/nj-events/downton-abbey-luncheon

January 31st – Fire and Ice Festival; Mount Holly, NJ: The fire stands for a chili contest and the ice, an ice sculpture display from amateurs and professional carvers. And that’s not all…there will be a gingerbread house contest as well as a beer festival portion of the event. Dogsled demonstrations and Fire Engine rides will also be in supply. January 31st – 5th Annual International Beer Expo; Secaucus, NJ: Spend the day at the Meadowlands Expo Center with more than 50 breweries from 15+ countries around the world.
