June Foodie Happenings Around the State

Happy June! Another month filled with food trucks and festivals is ahead. Seafood makes appearances on a grand scale throughout the state and wine events are plentiful. Soak in the sun and enjoy the eats.

June 6th– The WineMaker’s Co-op Presents The Fine Wine Showcase; Princeton, NJ: 4 of New Jersey’s most esteemed wineries started the Winemakers co-op Organization to help promote the quality wine movement in NJ. This summer event will be a celebration of each of these wineries top wines. June 6th-7th – Pour into Summer Wine Festival; Beach Haven, NJ: This year marks the 4th annual go around for this summer wine centered event. There will be 10 featured New Jersey wineries to taste. June 12th – Hammonton Food Truck Festival; Hammonton, NJ: This takes happy hour to a whole new level. Spend your Friday evening enjoying the first food truck festival ever to take place in Atlantic County! https://www.facebook.com/events/659953380775954/

June 12th-14th– New Jersey Seafood Festival; Belmar, NJ: I went to this event last year and it made me “happy as a clam!” With more than 40 seafood vendors, a beer and wine garden, live entertainment and beach views this event is popular with the crowds! June 13th-14th – Jersey Shore Wine Festival; Lakewood, NJ: The Lakewood Blue Claws are hosting a weekend full of fun! 9 wineries, along with craft and food vendors, live music and more. Proceeds of the event will go to Sylvia’s Children. Ticket information here: http://jerseyshorewinefestival.com/

June 15th– The Taste of NJ; New Brunswick, NJ: Celebrity Chef’s cooking demos, wine tasting, photo booth fun and even a price wheel are what to be expected at this exciting event. Tickets start at $45 and attendees will get to taste cuisine from all over the state! http://thetastenj.com/

June 20th-21st – Father’s Day Weekend at Crystal Springs Resort; Hamburg, NJ: Crystal Springs resort is rolling out 2 big events for Father’s Day Weekend. To kick it off on Saturday it’s the 7th annual NJ Beer & Food Festival. More than 120 beers from 40 breweries will be on tap, with live music, bbq and more. June 27th-28th– Win and Wine Festival; Oceanport, NJ: $10 gets you a souvenir glass and wine tastings for the day. June 27th-28th – Lobster Fest 2015; Bradley Beach, NJ: A whole weekend dedicated to Lobster! What could taste sweeter than succulent seafood right on the shore? June 27th-28th– Rock, Ribs, and Ridges; Augusta, NJ: There’s a barbecue in NJ where you can eat all day, enjoy live Rock, and then camp over night and do it all over again the next day!
