Hello Readers-I’m bringing you news on yet another exciting Foodie Fueled event. Over 45 Chefs, Restaurants, Specialty Food Firms, and Much More will be celebrated on March 9th at Montclair State.
I know you all love getting full notice for upcoming foodie related events. Here’s one I know most North Jersey locals will get excited about, Montclair Restaurant Week is on it’s way! The Montclair Rotary Club and Taste of Montclair shared the following details of the upcoming week event:
When I was little my Mom started a Christmas tradition that was truly wonderful. Once I graduated from college and started living on my own I carried on the tradition by myself. Now it’s 7 years later and this annual event has become an anticipated occasion among family and friends who know me.
I have yet another exciting local event to share with all of you. The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (NOFA-NJ) is hosting a fall Harvest Dinner on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Duke Farms Coach Barn in Hillsborough, NJ. It will be a grand display of produce, chefs, and businesses coming together to provide an evening to remember.
Chefs from two renowned North Jersey restaurants are teaming up to produce a pair of harvest dinner culinary showcase. Chefs Thomas Ciszak of Chakra and Todd Villani of Terre à Terre are the dynamic duo. The dinners will feature local produce sourced from New Jersey farms including Bracco Farms, Terhune Orchards and Shibumi Farm. The dinner on October 22nd at Terre à Terre will also include a tea tasting from Tavalon Tea.
A few weekends ago marked the 28th Annual Belmar Seafood Festival. I grew up just minutes from the yearly celebration and have yet to ever attend. This year my mission was to change that and boy did I pick a beautiful year to go. Bright blue skies flew overhead accompanied by a perfect sea salt scented breeze (the smell that always reminds me of home).
This past weekend marked the second annual Montclair Food and Wine Festival. I happened to be one of the lucky attendees of two of the events they hosted over the 3 day occasion. It was my first big event that I was invited to as press to cover the activities. I connected with the creator of the Montclair Food and Wine Festival, Melody Kettle, who graciously supported my blog’s venture to bring all of you great food stories and she invited me to attend.
The 2014 Montclair Food and Wine Festival is quickly approaching. There is just over a month until the festivities begin! I’ll be attending for the first time this year and I know I am highly anticipating the event.
The Montclair Food and Wine Festival is returning for its third annual event this May to celebrate local food culture.
