Today’s post is the complete BTP Superbowl recipe round up for your viewing parties. And let’s get serious; the food spread is just as important as the big game on the television. When I think of Superbowl party food I think of sticky, cheesy, crunchy finger foods, oh and of course some chili! It’s essentially bar food that we eat from the comfort of our couches.
The recipes below will satisfy all of the necessary game day criteria however; many of them are lightened up! Rather than ordering out, take a shot at cooking up some of the crispy baked wing variations for a big save on calories. Instead of chowing down on take-out pizza, the olive parmesan cheese straws are a great substitute (and so easy to make!). Take a browse below and make some additions to your menus!
BTP has THREE variations of wings for you to indulge on. The first two are baked classic style wings. There is almost no food prep for these so they are the perfect non-chef recipe. In my opinion these are just as good if not better than the restaurant versions. The other option is Blue Cheese Stuffed Buffalo Chicken Meatballs. These spicy, cheesy little bites will be the hit of the party. Get ready to impress some guests:
BTP has not one, but two types of chili for you to cook up. The Beef, Beer and Bean Chili is closer to the classic dish. One of BTP’s latest recipes is the Crockpot White Chicken Chili. It’s Gluten Free and a dump and cook dish. You can’t go wrong with either one:
Homemade snack mixes are perfect for the handful grab and go bowls at your party. Make a huge batch up of this spicy sriracha mix with chex, pretzels, cheese crackers and more!
To add some color to the mix (and a healthy touch) cut up some cucumbers cups and add some guacamole and shredded chicken to their cores.
To get your carb fix, BTP has a tasty recipe for Olive Tapenade and Parmesan Cheese Straws.
This recipe for Antipasto Hummus Party Dip is an all-time favorite. It’s the family party request I get for every occasion. If you don’t feel like using focaccia bread, just pair the dip with pita chips and you’ll still get the same delicious result!
I a while back I threw a 30th birthday for a friend of mine and created the ultimate “Guy’s Feast” This was Part 1 of the menu. It includes Chicken and Waffle Sliders, Barbeque Portobello Sliders, and Meatball Parmesan Sliders. You’ can’t lose with any of these recipes.
Part 2 of the “Guy’s Party Feast” was the ultimate Nacho Bar with nachos three ways. Find Greek nachos, Philly Cheese Steak nachos, and Buffalo Chicken Waffle Fry Nachos here-
…all for the love of the dish
