Can you believe it’s March already? I know I can speak for most of us by saying that I am very patiently waiting for warm weather to return. I’m hoping that March gives us a few days to get back to enjoying the great outdoors (And selfishly my fingers are crossed that if those days appear that they are on the weekend!!).
While we aren’t quite at the point of weekend after weekend of fantastic, fun in the sun, foodie events (sigh) there are tons of great events to take advantage of this month! There was a small lull the past few months while everyone hibernated indoors but March is kicking off the season with a host of drool worthy festivals, tastings, and more.
March 1st-7th– Atlantic City Restaurant Week; Atlantic City, NJ: Hurry up…this event is going on now! March 9th– Taste of Montclair; Montclair, NJ: One of the most delicious ways to celebrate the end of this winter’s deep freeze is to meet your friends, colleagues, and neighbors at the Montclair Rotary Club’s Fourth Annual Taste of Montclair event. The Taste is also the kickoff event for Montclair Restaurant Week, which runs from March 9 to 15. During the 2015 Taste, sample cuisine prepared by Montclair’s top chefs, who represent over 45 restaurants and specialty food purveyors. All proceeds of the event will go to charity. March 9th- 15th Annual Savor Food and Wine Experience; Wayne, NJ: North Jersey Chamber of Commerce bring back the popular night of food, wine, and local flavor. More than 30 restaurants will be present at the event. March 10th– Restaurant Latour Wine Dinner; Hamburg, NJ: Restaurant Latour will hold the first ever wine dinner on Tuesday March 10 at 6:30pm. Under new Executive Chef Anthony Bucco, the restaurant will feature the boutique wines of California’s PlumpJack and its sister properties CADE and the new Odette Estate.
