It’s crunch time! Get those Christmas menus finalized because we are in the final few days before Santa arrives. If you are like me I tend to add in last-minute additions to my party menus. You know, because you (or I) never think I have enough food. That’s never really the case but; I know many of you like me will always feel that the crazy amounts we are providing looks meager once it’s on the table. But today’s recipe for Sambuca Soaked Strawberries is a quick and easy menu add!
Not that I think Christmas cookies are ever really in shortage on the big day but, at that point we have all been sneaking treats for days. I’m usually “cookied out” when it comes to dessert on Christmas Day which is why I’m bringing you this recipe. It’s a very easy and light (well relative to the carb loaded meals we’ve consumed by the end of the day). And the best part…it includes your nightcap right in the dessert!
Sambuca Soaked Strawberries are sweet, syrupy, and have that comforting essence of the anise scented liquor.
